The year is 1950. You are in Folsom state prison in Folsom, California. No, you do not know who Johnny Cash is yet. Your cellmate, Vinny, is finalizing the gaping hole made behind the metal toilet seat in your cell that is going to be the beginning of your escape to freedom. The hole is ready. Vinny tells you to crawl through. You both shimmy through the tight opening and find yourself in something that’s not a part of the regular walking areas of the prison at all.
As soon as you get all the way through the hole, you are let out into a hallway with pipelines that carry water and gas throughout the prison. You and Vinny climb up each floor using the pipes that are laid vertically. After a couple minutes of labored climbing and a couple near misses falling to certain injury, you both make it to the top catwalk where the roof can be accessed.
As you lift open the hatch that was supposed to put you both on the roof, you both begin to float in zero gravity as you observe what you can only assume is the 4th dimension. Scenes of every event you have ever lived and will live through in your time on earth are now visible in sequential like walls around in this space like environment. The prison, and every earth-like element seen by the naked eye has now disappeared below you, like a door shutting behind you and disappearing into nothingness.
You soon begin to realize that these walls of events in time can be touched, and the feeling of what happened when you were there can be felt. While Vinny goes left, seeing the events that have happened in the past, you struggle to choose one.
Vinny sees that it’s not just your time frame of existence, but the time frame of everyone you will ever be in contact with during your lifetime. As you both begin to float upward this maze-like structure of a universe, you see the nauseating eyesore of infinite walls of timeframes, which can only be assumed to be every man’s existence through space.

Vinny becomes impatient and decides that he doesn’t want to live in anyone else’s life but his own. He tells you to follow him upward until the darkness of the dimension becomes brighter until everything is white. A wooden door appears in an environment that is only white in the 2D sense. Depth and range are no longer seeable, but you can still hear the timeframes of other’s lives occuring far below you. Vinny decides to try to open the door.
